Miami Web Marketing

If you are a small to mid-size business in the Miami metro area you may be underestimating the ability of web marketing to grow your business. People in your community use smartphones and tablets every day to find products and services, check prices and read reviews. Your online presence has never been more important than right now. You are stuck in an old way of thinking if you believe that only national companies and internet based businesses need web marketing. Of course, business is still built on word-of-mouth, personal referrals, and customer engagement – but in 2016, that is all happening online and on social media.

Engage Your Customers to Earn Trust

People like to do businesses with companies and individuals who they know, like, and trust. This can be a competitive edge for small business owners because they are closer to their customers. Engagement is the path to customer acquisition and loyalty. People want real-time information, news, and updates. They want to see reviews and what your customers and associates have to say about your business. They want to know more about you and your business. A solid web marketing plan is vital. Make use of a website, social media, and search engine optimization to deliver a targeted and consistent message in the places where people are already looking for products and services.

Why Web Marketing in Miami is a Must

Miami is The Big Leagues

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Miami’s metro area is the eighth most populous and fourth-largest urban area in the United States. With a population of around 5.5 million.

The Center of Economic Research, at Florida International University, says Miami-Dade’s Gross Domestic Output is currently at around $140 billion a year, which places it among the top 15 metro areas in the country.

Miami is a BIG city, and you are not going to reach all of your potential customers with a sign on the street or a flyer. Internet and social media marketing can put your local business at the fingertips of these customers, who in most cases are willing to drive across town if they find a business that suits their needs or lifestyle.

Miami is an International City

Greater Miami has a highly diversified economy with numerous multinational and Fortune 500 companies. It is an international banking and finance center with the greatest concentration of international banks in North America. Miami is also one of the world’s leading year-round resort centers and a major transportation hub; the port of Miami is the world’s largest cruise port and a major seaport for cargo.

Putting some resources into web marketing makes smart sense when you understand that it is exposing your brand and your business to a global marketplace. These visitors, whether they’re here for business or pleasure, are exploring Miami and searching what our city has to offer. Still more people are researching Miami as a possible location for their company or destination for a vacation.

Miami is Full of Mobile Device Super Consumers

Miami is a majority Latino city -70 percent of its population is Hispanic. Latinos are the nation’s largest minority, and one of its fastest growing -representing a $1.5 trillion consumer market segment.

Recent research has discovered that US Hispanics are also the most avid users of mobile technology, which makes them highly receptive to web marketing. In 2014, Google partnered with Ipsos MediaCT to explore U.S. Hispanics’ behavior regarding online sources, ads, and search. Key findings include:

• U.S. Hispanics use online sources at a higher rate than the general population (54% vs. 46%) and favor online sources over family, radio, and even 20% higher than TV.
• 66% of U.S. Hispanics say they pay attention to online ads—almost 20% more than the general population.
• 83% of U.S. Hispanic consumers who access the internet on a mobile device use it to inform a purchase in real time.

They also concluded that the idea Spanish language should always be used to engage U.S. Hispanics is an outdated notion. When it comes to language online, this audience is truly bilingual.
